This year’s class had a rewarding and interactive internship experience. The internship involved rotating through different parts of Arden Building Companies Mechanical, Plumbing, Sheet Metal, Controls, and Electrical divisions. During their rotations, they learned about job functions such as Estimating, VDC, Engineering, Field Execution, and Project Management. The skills they learned within were then applied to a final project comprising an estimate and project execution plan.

An Arden Building Company internship culminates in Intern Day. This year, the interns prepared presentations to review their estimates and project execution plans, which were presented to Senior Leadership. To wrap up the day, they got into their PPE and were tasked to pipe a spool drawing of laboratory piping, including measuring and preparing materials as well as assembly.

Congratulations to the Arden Building Company 2023 Intern class, and good luck in your upcoming coursework!
